Description
The Small-Size Shed Cell Collector is designed for efficient collection of trace shed cells from both smooth and uneven surfaces. It features a low-viscosity pressure-sensitive adhesive film mounted on an elastic EVA plastic block, enclosed in a protective transparent plastic case to prevent contamination. The collector is sterilized via ethylene oxide and handled under strict clean conditions to ensure DNA-free sampling. Ideal for forensic investigations and DNA laboratories, it allows safe, contamination-free collection, transport, and DNA extraction of trace cells.
Key Features:
-
Thin adhesive film easily fits into centrifuge tubes for DNA extraction
-
Elastic EVA block ensures close contact with surfaces of varying flatness, maximizing cell collection
-
Protective plastic case prevents contamination during storage and transport
-
Ethylene oxide sterilization eliminates residual DNA, ensuring a DNA-free product
-
Label on the case allows proper documentation of evidence information
Technical Parameters / Packaging:
-
Plastic case size: 44 × 42 × 13 mm
-
EVA plastic block: 30 × 10 × 10 mm
-
Adhesive film: 10 × 10 mm, low-viscosity pressure-sensitive adhesive
-
DNA sterilization: Full production under cleanroom conditions; ethylene oxide sterilization post-assembly
Usage Instructions:
-
Remove EVA block from the case.
-
Use tweezers to peel off the red strip label, exposing adhesive.
-
Press adhesive onto the target surface to collect shed cells.
-
Place EVA block back into the protective case and close it.
-
Fill in sample information on the case label.
-
In the lab, remove adhesive film with tweezers, place into a centrifuge tube, and proceed with DNA extraction.
Application Range:
Used in forensic scene investigation, laboratory DNA analysis, and trace cell collection from both smooth and irregular surfaces.
