Collection Method:

Open packaging (do not touch the brush head).

Brush the surface of the sample in the reverse direction of the bristles to generate friction.

Place the brush into a paper evidence bag after sampling.

In the DNA extraction area, cut half of the brush into a 1.5 mL centrifuge tube, add lysis buffer (~300 µL), incubate at 56°C for 30 min, then follow magnetic bead extraction protocol.
