Description

The HXMQ-IV DNA Evidence Extraction Swab is designed for efficient collection of DNA from suspicious traces and surfaces. Each swab is individually sterilized in a dialysis paper bag using ethylene oxide to eliminate residual DNA, ensuring contamination-free handling. Supplied in a paper box containing 30 bags of 2 swabs each, along with a 10ml distilled water spray bottle, the swabs can be moistened before use for optimal DNA collection. Easy-break tips allow direct transfer into laboratory tubes for downstream analysis.

Usage Instructions:

1. Open the dialysis paper packaging with scissors and remove the swab.

2. Moisten the swab using the supplied distilled water spray bottle.

3. Wipe the area with the moistened swab to collect DNA traces.

4. Place the swab into a dedicated storage box to avoid contact with other surfaces.

5. Alternatively, store the used swab back in the original dialysis bag to prevent contamination.

6. In the laboratory, insert the swab head into a centrifuge tube, press the tube cap onto the swab, and snap the tip to release the swab head for analysis.
