Each swab is made from long-fiber pure cotton for optimal sample adherence. The swab is housed in a transparent protective tube with a ventilated rubber cap containing desiccant, preventing biological material degradation during storage or transport. Ethylene oxide sterilization ensures all swabs are DNA-free prior to use. The kit includes swabs and extraction solution, supporting forensic, crime scene, and laboratory applications.

Usage Instructions:

1. Remove the protective tube and moisten the swab with extraction solution.

2. Swab the suspected trace thoroughly.

3. Replace the protective tube; moisture will be absorbed by the desiccant through the vent.

4. Place the swab in the dialysis paper bag; label with sample information.

5. In the lab, break the swab shaft and leave the head in a test tube for DNA extraction.
