Description
The Shed Cell Collector is designed for efficient collection of trace shed cells from both smooth and uneven surfaces. Each unit consists of a 12×12 mm single-sided adhesive layer mounted on a foam double-sided adhesive pad attached to a square plastic platform. A protective transparent cover prevents contamination before use. The collector is DNA-free, sterilized with ethylene oxide, and handled under strict clean conditions. After collection, the adhesive layers can be transferred to a centrifuge tube for DNA extraction, ensuring safe, contamination-free sampling for forensic and laboratory applications.

Usage Instructions:

Remove the transparent protective cover.

Use tweezers to peel off the protective paper from the single-sided adhesive.

Press adhesive onto the target surface to collect shed cells.

Replace the protective cover to protect collected cells.

In the lab, remove the adhesive layers and place into a centrifuge tube for DNA extraction.
