Description
The TECS1506 swab is specifically developed for forensic collection of blood stains, saliva stains, semen stains, and other biological evidence. Each swab is housed in a transparent tube with a built-in high-absorption desiccant placed within 10 mm of the swab tip, actively absorbing moisture to prevent bacterial, fungal, and DNase activity that can degrade DNA. The swab head is suspended in the tube, enabling rapid drying without contact with surfaces, while the sealed tube protects the sample from external contamination. The cotton swab shaft is made of breakable material, allowing the swab head to be directly transferred into a centrifuge tube without scissors or tweezers, minimizing contamination. Each swab is independently packaged, and 100 swabs are included per box (5 packs of 20).
